THE STACK I SHIP QUALITY WITH

Engineering quality,
end to end

Zeeshan Mustafa is a freelance QA Automation Engineer based in Karachi, Pakistan, currently working at Folio3 — a US-based enterprise software company — where he builds cross-platform E2E test automation for CXApp across Web, iOS, and Android. With hands-on experience in Playwright (TypeScript & Python), XCUITest (Swift), and Appium (Java), he designs frameworks on the Page Object Model with full CI/CD integration via GitHub Actions. At Vidizmo AI he maintained an 89% CI/CD pass rate across Playwright suites; at The ModVentures he cut manual testing effort by 75% through Appium automation. As a freelance QA automation engineer available for remote engagements worldwide, he builds AI-accelerated test frameworks using Claude Code and Playwright MCP. You'll find his technical guides on Medium and open-source projects on GitHub as ZeeshanMustafaJumabhoy.

My approach goes beyond test counts — I focus on pipeline stability, meaningful coverage, and reducing noise so engineering teams can ship with confidence. I actively investigate CI failures, triage flaky tests, and contribute to acceptance criteria alongside developers.

Outside core QA work, I explore AI-assisted test automation: publishing technical guides on Medium, open-sourcing Claude Code skill frameworks, and integrating AI tools into real QA workflows. I write things I wish existed when I was starting out.

Your team ships features.
Bugs shouldn't ship with them.

Most teams treat QA as a checkbox — until a bug reaches production. I build automation frameworks that actually prevent that: using plain-language requirements → runnable Playwright specs, AI-assisted test generation via Claude, and CI pipelines that catch regressions before a human even looks at them.

Frameworks I've shipped

Web Automation · TypeScript

Playwright E2E Framework

Problem Cross-browser web flows were regression-tested by hand every release — slow, inconsistent, and the first thing skipped under deadline pressure.

Solution Built a modular Playwright + TypeScript framework on the Page Object Model — centralized locators, reusable utilities and structured test data across functional, regression and smoke suites, wired into GitHub Actions.

Result Full regression now runs unattended on every push with Trace Viewer auto-debugging — manual regression effort cut ~70% and flaky failures caught before code review.

iOS Automation · Swift

iOS XCUITest Framework

Problem iOS release testing relied on manual taps across gestures, forms and async screens — unrepeatable and a bottleneck before every App Store submission.

Solution Built a scalable XCUITest + Swift framework (POM, centralized accessibility identifiers, reusable helpers) across 9 suites, with UITEST_MODE launch arguments keeping CI runs stable.

Result Gesture, validation, async-loading and accessibility flows now verified automatically each build — release-blocking regressions surface in CI instead of in production.

Android Automation · Java

Android App Testing

Problem The Toucher mobile app's regression pass was fully manual — every sprint burned QA days re-running the same flows by hand.

Solution Built an E2E regression + functional suite (Jest, Java, Maven, Appium on the Page Object Model) with Allure reporting and JIRA/ClickUp defect tracking.

Result Manual testing effort cut by 75%; regression coverage runs on demand with shareable Allure reports for every run.

Selenium E2E + CI/CD Pipeline

Problem The e-commerce checkout had no automated safety net, and test credentials risked being hardcoded straight into every run.

Solution Built a data-driven Selenium WebDriver framework (C# / MSTest) on the Page Object Model, wired into GitHub Actions with secrets-managed credentials, headless Chrome and Allure artifacts per push.

Result 8/8 suites pass on every build with zero hardcoded secrets — checkout regressions caught automatically before merge.
